• Students of HUST
The Ha Noi University of Science and Technology (HUST) is the main technical university in Viet Nam. It trains approximately 42,000 students every year, coming from all over Viet Nam. The existing dormitories were constructed 60 years ago and can accommodate only 4,200 students.
The HUST has decided to construct a new dormitory that would be procured as a PPP to replace one of its older buildings. HUST wants to develop more student accommodation and targets to provide housing for up to 8,000 students in the medium to long term.
The Project consists of the construction and the operation and maintenance (O&M) of a new dormitory building to replace an existing 4-storey dormitory. The building shall also host other facilities, such as conference rooms, commercial facilities and possibly an underground car park to increase commercial revenues.
The AP3F TA project involves: (i) project definition and conceptualization support for detailed scoping; (ii) project preparation, structuring and tendering support which entails preparation, marketing, tendering, award, and financial close.
Education sector public-private partnership projects rolled-out.
