Existing treatment plants operate since 1969 (mechanic) and 1972 (biological). The need to implement the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) project proposed herein is a result of the poor technical condition and low capacity of existing water supply and sanitation structures of the City.

Advise the City about other WWTP projects carried out in Asia under PPP schemes over the last 10 years, best industry practices, and lessons learnt from both success stories and failed/troubled projects

Assessment of the institutional, regulatory and legal environment (tariff regime, stakeholder identification, applicability of law (PPP Law (2015) or Concession Law (2006), potential legal issues and hurdles to procuring the project as a PPP).
